Tonic for Flu Season

Tonic for flu season:

You will need:

1/2 a lemon

1 in piece of ginger root, peeled and chopped

1 teaspoon honey (maybe more if you like it sweet)

1 ounce whiskey (optional)

Heat the ginger, lemon and honey in a pot of water.  Strain, add whiskey and drink.  I rely on ginger, honey and lemon during flu season.
